You gotta admire the balls of Sakuraba to stand up toe to toe against Wanderlei, which showed him why he was called the Axe Murderer.

Absolutely deserved the FOTY for 2011. One of the best fights of all time. While people argue that the latter rounds were lacking due to both fighter running on fumes, it showed heart and unwavering desire to win.
