Early in Dustin Poirier's career his hair was in a buzzcut, but at some point he grew his hair a bit and added a little bit of style, saying that one advantage he has over his opponents is that his hair is "Salon Quality". UFC fans believe Poirier has performed better since receiving his new haircut, and have nicknamed the new iteration of Dustin "Salon Quality Poirier".

"Greatest Of All Time" The GOAT is the best to ever do it. MMA fans debate over who is the GOAT. Common nominations include Jon Jones, Khabib Nurmagomedov and George St. Pierre. Fighters can also be a divisional GOAT, for example, Dominick Cruz is the men's bantamweight GOAT. Jokingly, Artem Lobov and other mediocre fighters are sometimes referred to as the GOAT.

Sexy Wizard Bisping
Michael Bisping gave an interview in which they listed things he gives zero fucks about. One was Halloween, his response was along the lines of "Why would I care about halloween? Am I going to dress up as a sexy wizard? Zero fucks given" And now fans sometimes call him "Sexy Wizard Bisping".

Anderson Silva, a Brazillian who speaks English as a second language, says "Is Normal" a lot where an English speaker might say "Fine". For example, when asked how he feels during fight week, he responds "is normal."

After Derrick Lewis knocked out Alexander Volkov, he took off his shorts inside the octagon, leaving only his underwear. Joe Rogan asked him why he did that and Lewis answered "My balls was hot."

Training Against Bears
Khabib Nurmagomedov literally wrestled with bears when he was young. Nurmagomedov grew up in Dagestan, where as a nine year old boy, his father led him out towards the edge of the forest, where a bear cub was chained to a nearby tree. His dad then turned on a handheld camera, pointed it at his son, and ordered him to the wrestle the animal. Khabib, even at that young age displayed technique and heart.
