Spinning Shit
MMA attacks that involve spinning your whole body, such as spinning back fist, spinning elbow or spinning kicks. The phrase was coined by Nick Diaz when he fought Carlos Condit in the main event of UFC 143. At 2:02 in the first round, Condit throws a spinning back fist to which Diaz asks "We're throwing spinning shit now?"

Pride Month
June is Pride Month, where MMA fans celebrate Pride Fighting Championships, a Japanese mixed martial arts promotion that operated for ten years, from 1997 to 2007. Pride was home to some of the most famous fighters of that era, including Mirko Cro Cop, Rampage Jackson and Wanderlei Silva. The PRIDE ruleset was also more permissive than UFC MMA, permitting soccer kicks, stomps and knees to downed opponents and body slams directly in the head ("spiking").

For situations when a fighter is losing very badly and appear to be taking damage with no chance of winning, and yet the referee does not stop the fight, the ref is assumed to be thinking "If he dies, he dies". Originally referring to referees Mario Yamasaki and Steve Mazzagati who are notorious for letting one-sided beatings go on too long.

Uneducated Fool
"Uneducated Fool" is an insult said by Georges St-Pierre to his opponent Nick Diaz in the build up to their UFC 158 championship bout. GSP, who is a native French speaker speaking English as a second language, often says things that anglophones find humorous because his attempted insults are softened in translation. I'm Not Impressed By Your Performance
After losing to Matt Hughes, George St-Pierre stated he was not impressed and wanted a rematch. However, he did it in the most polite way which is typical of GSP.

A catchphrase of Former UFC fighter, and current podcaster, Brendan Schuab. GADOOSH refers to hitting someone with a very hard, powerful strike that knocks them down or out.

Training Against Bears
Khabib Nurmagomedov literally wrestled with bears when he was young. Nurmagomedov grew up in Dagestan, where as a nine year old boy, his father led him out towards the edge of the forest, where a bear cub was chained to a nearby tree. His dad then turned on a handheld camera, pointed it at his son, and ordered him to the wrestle the animal. Khabib, even at that young age displayed technique and heart.
