After defeating Conor McGregor at UFC 196, Nate Diaz, a betting underdog, said he was not surprised that he won. The exchange happened with Joe Rogan during Diaz's post fight octagon interview. "I'm not surprised Mother Fuckers!" has lived on as one of Diaz's many memorable quotes.

UFC fans believe Poirier has performed better since receiving his new haircut, and have nicknamed the new iteration of Dustin "Salon Quality Poirier".
