Reporter: Conor, who do you think would give you the hardest fight out of anyone on stage? Jeremy Stephens: Right Here! The real hardest hitting 145 pounder. This guy TKOs people, when I knock people out they don't fucking move! Conor McGregor: Who da fook is that guy?

Chael Sonnen makes fun of the Brazillian Nogueira brothers. Sonnen claims the Nogiera brothers, new to America, had never seen a bus before and thought it was a horse, and thus tried to feed a carrot. The story has remained a favorite in MMA fandom.
"I was in Las Vegas when the Nogueira brothers first touched down in America. There was a bus that pulled up to a red light and Little Nog tried to feed it a carrot while Big Nog was petting it. He thought it was a horse. This really happened." - Chael Sonnen

Pound for pound is a ranking used in MMA of who the better fighters are irrespective of their weight, i.e. adjusted to compensate for weight class. As these fighters do not compete directly, judging the best fighter pound for pound is subjective, and ratings vary. In the UFC, there are official pound-for-pound rankings although debate around them is fierce. Abbreviated as "P4P"
"Adesanya would beat Mighty Mouse, but only because he's bigger. Pound for pound, mighty mouse is a way better fighter."
Pound For Pound Explained
Bangkok Ready means to be good at Muay Thai. Bangkok Thailand is the home of the martial art Muay Thai (Thai Kickboxing), and some of the best fighters in the world. To be "Bangkok Ready" is to be at such a high level of Muay Thai that you could go to Bangkok and compete with the best in the world. The phrase was made popular when Eddie Bravo told a story to Joe Rogan about an MMA fighter Gerald Strebendt who knew BJJ but then tried to master Muay Thai.
Eddie Bravo (on why he though Gerald Strebendt should try to use rappling instead of striking): "Because 6 months (of Muay Thai training)... I know he thinks he's Bangkok ready, but that's (only) 6 months (of training)."

Anytime UFC heavyweight Derrick Lewis is on his back with an opponent on top of him, he is often able to just stand up with seeming ease. This has driven comments that he doesn't use or need any BJJ technique, he "just stands up."
Derrick Lewis (In a post fight interview on how he gets up from grappling exchanges): "Shit, I ain't all that technical and all, but shit, I'm getting up. Fuck it."
