Pride Month
June is Pride Month, where MMA fans celebrate Pride Fighting Championships, a Japanese mixed martial arts promotion that operated for ten years, from 1997 to 2007. Pride was home to some of the most famous fighters of that era, including Mirko Cro Cop, Rampage Jackson and Wanderlei Silva. The PRIDE ruleset was also more permissive than UFC MMA, permitting soccer kicks, stomps and knees to downed opponents and body slams directly in the head ("spiking").
Uneducated Fool
"Uneducated Fool" is an insult said by Georges St-Pierre to his opponent Nick Diaz in the build up to their UFC 158 championship bout. GSP, who is a native French speaker speaking English as a second language, often says things that anglophones find humorous because his attempted insults are softened in translation. Sea Level Cain
Sea Level Cain is Cain Velasquez at his best - at sea level. Cain Velasquez is known for having great cardio, but when he fought in Mexico City, which is at very high altitude, he gassed out early and lost to Fabricio Werdum. People think it must have been the altitude, so Sea Level Cain is born.
I'm Not Impressed By Your Performance
After losing to Matt Hughes, George St-Pierre stated he was not impressed and wanted a rematch. However, he did it in the most polite way which is typical of GSP.
Joe Rogan: "Here's Georges." Georges St-Pierre: "I'm very glad you won that fight, Matt, but I'm not impressed by your performance and I look forward to fighting you in the near future."

Alistair Overeem ate horsemeat as part of his diet while he was a UFC fighter. Fans speculate this is why Overeem had such a massive physique.

Spinning Shit
MMA attacks that involve spinning your whole body, such as spinning back fist, spinning elbow or spinning kicks. The phrase was coined by Nick Diaz when he fought Carlos Condit in the main event of UFC 143. At 2:02 in the first round, Condit throws a spinning back fist to which Diaz asks "We're throwing spinning shit now?"
