During the UFC "Go Big" press conference, when RDA and Cerrone were asked if they would fight Conor McGregor instead of each other, Conor retorts with "I change your bum life... it's a celebration... you call your wife, 'We're rich baby, break out the red panties...' It's red panty night when you fight me!" When other fighters take on Conor McGregor, it is usually a big earning opportunity for them, so "Red Panty Night" is considered a real thing. The phrase can be used in other contexts such as any time something really good happens, especially involving money.

Originally referring to referees Mario Yamasaki and Steve Mazzagati who are notorious for letting one-sided beatings go on too long.

Chael Sonnen, a former UFC and Bellator fighter, once described his body as "Basically Clean" of performance enhancing substances. He went on to say "it depends on your definition of clean". Since retiring, Sonnen has since admitted to using PEDs while competing as an MMA fighter.

Conor McGregor posted videos of himself doing some atypical training in a park with his 'movement' coach Ido Portal. During a heated press conference for UFC 196, Nate Diaz made fun of this, coining a legendary phrase "Touch Butt In The Park"

Early in Dustin Poirier's career his hair was in a buzzcut, but at some point he grew his hair a bit and added a little bit of style, saying that one advantage he has over his opponents is that his hair is "Salon Quality".
